Phase I – Identification and Prevention
Social Security Number Audit — The first step in the CreditGuard program is a Social Security Number audit.
Fraud Alerts are set — CreditGuard will place an initial fraud alert on your behalf with all three major credit bureaus, locking down access to your good credit.
Credit Report — Upon enrollment, members will receive a Credit Report from each of the three major credit bureaus, with subsequent reports provided annually.
Phase II — Ongoing Protection
“WalletGuard”– This service is designed to help you organize your information (credit cards, debit cards, checking account numbers, memberships, drivers license, etc.). If stolen or lost, we will help you contact each company or organization to initiate replacements, and establish new pin numbers or pass codes.
Junk Mail– CreditGuard will remove you from pre-approved or pre-screened credit card or insurance offers.
“Do Not Call” Listings — CreditGuard will add up to 2 of your phone numbers to the federally-mandated “Do Not Call” lists.
Phase III — Loss Control/Recovery
If Identity Theft does occur, CreditGuard’s trained Loss Control Specialists will assist you with the implementation of all necessary steps to control the loss and to begin the recovery process.

- You will receive a copy of your confi dential Social Security Number audit, plus a Welcome Newsletter.
- Credit Guard will place an initial Fraud Alert with all major credit bureaus, locking down your credit.
- Within 60 days, you will receive your credit report from all three major credit bureaus.
- Every 90 days, CreditGuard will reset these fraud alerts on your behalf with all major credit bureaus.
- CreditGuard will enroll you in our “Wallet Guard” protection program.
- Up to 2 of your phone numbers will be placed on the Federally-mandated “Do Not Call” listing, eliminating frustrating calls plus, no more junk mail!
- If your Identity is stolen while you are a member, you will receive professional assistance in taking all necessary steps to protect and secure your good name and credit.
